Gayle King, Erica Hill Fawn Over Sara Blakely, Spanx Inc. Founder

WATCH: Gayle King Fawns Over Latest Interview

"CBS This Morning" hosts Gayle King and Erica Hill interviewed a woman who they couldn't help but repeatedly thank for her major contribution: Spanx, Inc. founder Sara Blakely.

Like many women on television, King has openly expressed her deep, unwavering love for Spanx. She even issued a plea for a minor redesign of what she called her girdle of choice. Let's just say it had to do with an opening.

"Some of us are wearing Spanx," King said as she introduced Blakely, who is the youngest woman to make the Forbes Billionaires list without an inheritance or husband. King added that she has done "countless, countless things for women." Co-host Charlie Rose admitted that he was at first unfamiliar with the shape wear, but had never seen his two female co-hosts so excited to pay homage to someone.

"We should just say this, Charlie. Thank god for panty lines," King said, referring to a reason why Blakely started her company. King and Hill were stunned by Blakely's story, who started in 2002 with only $5,000 in her savings account. Blakely said that despite the brand's success, her company has never formerly advertised. She also named King's gal pal Oprah as a person from whom she gets inspiration.
