World's Best Beaches, As Picked By TripAdvisor (PHOTOS)

TripAdvisor released its list of the world's best beaches, numbers 25 through 1.

The list -- culled together by millions of readers' reviews -- reads as a veritable who's who (or what's where) of beaches around the world. Obvious picks like Cabo San Lucas and Honolulu are joined by lesser-known Marsa Alam in Egypt and the slightly less glam Myrtle Beach, S.C. The top destinations skew heavily towards America, with 8 of the 25 being on our shores.

In a press release, TripAdvisor's CMO Barbara Messing said: “Travelers seeking a brief beach respite from the cold or planning their grand summer getaways will quickly warm up to the thought of trips to these award-winning beach destinations, as identified by TripAdvisor’s community of millions of travelers."

So how does this list hold up against, say, the best nude beaches the most colorful beaches, the most secluded beaches or even the best artificial beaches?
