Whitney Houston's Sister-In-Law Patricia Tells Oprah About Finding The Singer's Body (VIDEO)

Whitney Houston's Sister-In-Law Tells Oprah About The Night Whitney Died

Whitney Houston's sister-in-law, Patricia Houston sat down with Oprah Winfrey on "Oprah's Next Chapter" (Sun., 9 p.m. EST on OWN) for her first television interview since the singer's death in Los Angeles on February 11.

It was an emotionally charged exchange that saw both women break down into tears, and Patricia had to pause several times to collect herself as she relived the awful events of that night.

Patricia told Oprah that she was returning to Whitney's hotel room after running an errand when "I heard screams. And I saw the hairstylist drop to her knees."

When she got into Whitney's room, Patricia saw her brother Ray, who was the singer's security guard, desperately trying to revive her. Ray was, Patricia said, at "the point of exhaustion."

Oprah then asked where was Whitney's body was found -- was it in the bathtub as reports have suggested? Patricia confirmed that Whitney was in the tub, but that she didn't know how she got there.

"I just know they had to pull her out of there ... And I saw them cover her up. And I knew that was it."

"Oprah's Next Chapter" airs each Sunday at 9 p.m. EST on OWN.
