'Hoarders' Season Finale: A Shocking, Sad Discovery (VIDEO)

A Shocking Discovery On The 'Hoarders' Season Finale

The season finale of "Hoarders" (Mon., 9 p.m. EST on A&E) followed Jeri Jo as she tried to deal with her obsessive hoarding.

Although Jeri Jo couldn't explain how or why her hoarding had reached such extremes, it seemed that it may have been triggered by loneliness.

Distant from her family, she was married to a convicted murderer who'd been in jail for over 30 years, and she was very isolated.

However, as her family reached breaking point, and her brother-in-law threatened to have her removed from her home, Jeri Jo agreed to receive help.

As they cleaned-up Jeri Jo's house, Mike made a shocking discovery. Jeri Jo had used a rope to tie a noose and hung it from the ceiling rafters in her garage.

Although she tried to make light of it, a clearly shaken Mike told her he found it frightening. "I'm scared you may nut-up some day and use that thing!"

Although Jeri Jo's sister said she didn't think that she would actually use the noose, "I can't say for sure. I think if she got desperate enough or angry enough at all of us? I don't know."
