'Happy Endings': Brad Is Proud Of His Break-Up Restaurant

Though he hasn't had reason to use it in years, Brad is still pretty proud of the "break-up restaurant" he found and utilized for a long time on "Happy Endings" (Wed., 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC). The genius of the location is that it has a mariachi band to cover up any loud reactions, plastic utensils to avoid potential injuries and tables bolted to the ground to eliminate the chances of a classic table flip.

While the gang was struggling to find a restaurant to celebrate Penny's third 29th birthday, he dropped the details on that particular restaurant. Everyone was impressed with his foresight, except for Jane, who realized that he had taken her to that very restaurant back when they were dating. Was he planning to break up with her?

As it turned out, he was. But then he watched her order very specifically, knowing exactly what she wanted and how she wanted it prepared and served, and he changed his mind. Even though he was scared of commitment, he couldn't help but see a woman who knew exactly what she wanted who also happen to want him. So he didn't do it.

And by telling her why he didn't do it, they were able to reconcile their fight. Unfortunately, that led to bathroom sex -- which is apparently a thing for them -- and the gang getting thrown out of another restaurant. Things weren't going well in their attempts to beat the curse of Penny's birthday.

"Happy Endings" airs every Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
