Ochocinco Twitter Dinner: Receiver Takes Followers Out For Meal

Ochocinco Takes Twitter Followers To Dinner

There hardly seems to be a dull moment in the life of Chad Ochocinco. Unless, of course, you count those long hours when he idled on the sideline for the New England Patriots during most of their games.

Over the last year or so, Ochocinco has changed teams. He has enthusiastically experienced different things. He attempted to play a different sport during the lockout. He has even decided to go back to his old name, Johnson, in the near future. But the one thing he has been consistent with is Twitter. Ochocinco loves Twitter. And he loves his Twitter followers.

So it came as no surprise when he tweeted a dinner invitation for the first 200 people to show up at a restaurant in New York City. Oh, and dinner would be on him.

And wouldn't you know it, 200 of his followers showed up and got a free meal.

According to TMZ, sources at the restaurant, Sylvia's soul food restaurant in Harlem, said Ochocinco spent $7,914.

"Met 200 hundred people 2night,"
the Patriots receiver tweeted after the meal. "Now I've 200 new friends, even better 200 new friends have my phone number. Now that s*** is #Epic or #Crazy."

Of course, this isn't the first good deed Ochocinco has done for his followers.

During the NFL playoffs, a follower named Victor Gonzalez tweeted at Ochocinco and complained that he had never received a response in the two years he has been tweeting at him. Feeling guilty, Ochocinco went out of his way to fly him to the Patriots playoff game against the Broncos.
