Rihanna Says Her Collaboration With Chris Brown 'Made Sense'

NEW YORK — People have been scratching their heads over Rihanna's musical collaboration with Chris Brown, but she says it "made sense" and it's "innocent."

Brown appears on a remix of her song "Birthday Cake" and she appears on a remix of his "Turn up the Music." Their music union is noteworthy because Brown beat up Rihanna three years ago and is still on probation for the assault.

Rihanna says it was her idea for Brown to appear on her song because he's "the hottest R&B artist" right now. He then asked her to be on his song.

She says the partnership allowed fans to come together, adding: "There shouldn't be a divide. ... It's music, and it's innocent."

She made the comments to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles.

The question isn't why she did it, the bigger question is, who is going to buy it and if it is going to be a hit. If the answer is positive then that is a problem and speaks worse of us than her. Right now she is receiving all of the marketing she needs to expose and market the product.

Lack of self esteem, horniness, what ever reason she gives; who didn't see this coming? She isn't a leader, she never seemed like a strong woman, she was never going to be a spokesperson for domestic violence. She's one of those recurrent victims that repeat their sick behavior. He'll do it again; and even if she leaves him; she'll find herself a substitute. She needs therapy.

Not to discount the assault AT ALL, but perhaps the problem is that we know too much about entertainers' personal lives now ... they are entertainers! If Rihanna has moved on enough to record a song, a BANGING A$$ SONG(no pun intended) might I add, then that's her business, not ours!

Folks: follow Chris Rene and buy his music for he is a humble talented man. LIVE LIFE and put your HATE down! What a beautiful message. If we could all look at different persons as human beings that are inperfect just like the rest of us humans. We could then evaluate on merit only. Is a person cool only if they have a nice car, house, and lots of money?We are all different but pursue the same dream of having a healthy family and good health. We try to get an education to make a better life for ourselves. The important thing is to when you are down you pick yourself up and start again. Do not critizize because of color but on how much a person shares with others.Remember that we cannot take anything material with us when we pass. All of the money and jewelry will stay here, so if all that you do here is make money, you will be so dissapointed. You will be judged as you judged others on earth! Think about it!
