Donald Trump Fragrance Making A Return

Donald Trump: The Fragrance?

If you're the kind of person who thinks, "You know, what the world really needs is more celebrity perfumes," you're in luck: Donald Trump has announced his second fragrance deal.

Yup, that Donald Trump. The loud-mouthed billionaire had attempted a branded fragrance back in 2004 with little success, but rumor of a second go-round began popped up again last May. Now he's officially debuting Success by Trump, retailing exclusively at Macy’s.

Women's Wear Daily writes that the fragrance, which should start hitting stores next month, will be different this time around. It's aspirational, said Rafael Villoldo, vice president of Perfumania Holdings Inc., based "on more than his name and him personally. It is the lifestyle and the aspiration to what he represents -- wealth. The Trump family represents success."

Then again, back in 2004, the idea was just about the same. "We are confident that men of all ages want to experience some part of Mr. Trump's passion and taste for luxury," Aramis president Fabrice Weber said. "People want to know him on every level."

Well, we're not totally sure about that. As Adam Levine of Maroon 5 griped last year, "I also would like to put an official ban on celebrity fragrances. Punishable by death from this point forward."

Then again, Levine just launched his own fragrance. So much for that.

Check out a collection of just a few stars who've stuck their name on a perfume bottle. Would you buy any of the fragrances -- including Trump's?
