Mitt Romney Tries Harder To Humanize Himself

Mitt Romney's "body man" started a blog. And it appears that one of the main goals of the new new venture is to humanize Romney, giving the press, and maybe a few voters, a behind-the-scenes look at the candidate campaigning.

Romney has had trouble connecting, because most people can't get a sense of who he really is. That's a common critique. Certainly the former Massachusetts governor does not emanate warmth, and lacks the easy demeanor that President Barack Obama can sometimes show off in casual moments.

So the Romney campaign handed a camera and some space on the website to Garrett Jackson, the harder-than-hell-working 25-year old aide to Romney who travels with him wherever he goes and is at his side at every political event.

Jackson posted two videos from Romney's morning in Illinois. The most noticeable thing is how tired Romney looks.

Of the restaurant where he ate breakfast, Pancakes EggCetera, in Rosemont, Illinois, Romney points out, "It's kind of a play on words."

Romney says a few words before an appearance on "Fox and Friends."
