It sounds like a lobster lover's dream: 20 restaurants, all known for their lobster roll, competing against each other to determine which 'wich is deemed supreme. If the 2012 Lobster Roll Rumble is anything like last year's event, HuffPost Food can vouch that there are some seriously good lobster rolls out there. However, for the 2012 Rumble, over 60 percent of the contenders are brand new. That's a lot of lobster rolls to sample.
The event itself -- which benefits Share Our Strength -- occurs June 7 in New York. Tickets for this year's event go on sale Wednesday, March 21 at 11am EST here.
Not sure if you want to fork over $150 to chow down on some lobster? Perhaps these photos below of this year's contenders will whet your appetite. At the very least, you'll be able to sample the rolls vicariously.
