Beyonce Returns For Memorial Day Weekend Concert In Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Beyoncé is set to return to the stage for the first time since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy.

The Grammy winner will perform three concerts in New Jersey in May at Atlantic City's Revel Resorts. Revel said Monday that the shows will be held over Memorial Day weekend for the premiere of the $2.4 billion resort.

Beyoncé gave birth to her first child in January. She is married to rapper Jay-Z.

Tickets for the May 25 through May 27 concerts go on sale April 6. Beyoncé will perform in the Ovation Hall, which has 5,050 seats.

The singer released her fourth album, the platinum-seller "4," in June.

There are a lot of people here drunk off haterade. The woman is doing THREE damn shows. Mmkay? Three! Not a world wide tour. Being a mother isn't her ONLY identity. So she has all the money in the world. And? She has a right to work. How boring would it be to sit around all day and night taking care of a newborn when you were once one of the busiest women in the entertainment industry? Yawn. I'm sure she has her priorities right. She can have her cake and eat it too because she is Beyonce Carter.

Beyonce's fans are the most annoying people on the planet.Well I should say Beyonce fanatics. I too wish she would go away for 2 years.Remember back in the day Janet,Madonna,Whitney etc would go away for 2 years and reinvent themselves? Stars today cannot because they lack that raw talent and good long lasting material like the old school.

I am trying to compare her to other famous entertainers who had a baby and still kept working......well.....if you think about it, a lot of famous women have done the same thing....nobody is beating them up....so why is Bey getting beat up here....seriously, she's no more overexposed than any other entertainer/mother.....

I like Bey, my only issue with her is, now that she's a mom, she can cut back on all the booty squats, and gaps, and booty shakin'....other than that...I wouldn't mind heading toward A.C. to check her out....and her latest song is really nice....MsG7

She doesn't need the money, she craves the attention. She can't even enjoy just being a new mom without a photo op. You never saw pics of her taking 'strolls' through the streets of NY or anywhere until recently. Anything to stay in the blogs. That fame must be one helluva drug.
