Kevin Love, J.J. Barea Separated On Bench During Timberwolves-Kings Game (VIDEO)

Kevin Love Separated From Teammate On Bench

Things have gone from bad to worse for the Minnesota Timberwolves ever since rookie sensation Ricky Rubio tores his ACL and was declared out for the season. Not only did the T-Wolves lose the game in which the injury occurred, but they have dropped four of their next five games, including losses to West's two worst teams, the New Orleans Hornets and Sacramento Kings.

To make matters worse, things got heated between a couple Minnesota players during a timeout in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Kings. In the video above, backup point guard J.J. Barea appeared to say something to All-Star forward Kevin Love, who reacted by getting out of his seat and cursing in Barea's face.

Martell Webster and Luke Ridnour had to step in between the two and separate them.

Both players spoke to Jerry Zgoda of the Star-Tribune after the game and put the altercation to rest.

"We just got into it. It's all right,"
Barea said. "He said something I didn't like, I said it back and we're all good. Nothing against him"

Love reiterated Barea's comments and said it was "nothing personal" and that they should have taken their frustrations out on Sacramento.

Minnesota is now two games under .500 and three spots out of the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
