'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Season 7: Tamra Barney Talks New Castmember

Potential New 'O.C.' Housewife Is A 'Fancy Bethenny'

The "Real Housewives of Orange County" is back for a seventh season and one of this year's cast members, Tamra Barney, is saying the season is all about freedom, fun and, of course, fighting.

“I tried last year to bury the hatchet with Gretchen [Rossi] and we tried the year before that, so we have been trying for a long time," Tamra tells me. “So far we have success. Before, a lot of our fighting was from outside influence and being on the show, they love fighting. But now we hang out when we are not being filmed. We went for dinner before I came to New York.”

As well as making friends with Gretchen, Tamra hopes to have another lady in her corner this season by bringing on a new housewife, Heather Dubrow.

"Heather pretty much gets along with everybody," Tamra says. "She has a little bit of New York in her that comes out every once and a while. She has a Bethenny [Frankel] look to her. I call her 'the fancy Bethenny.' Bethenny kind of has the mouth like me where Heather is very proper. She can put you down, put you in your place. She told Alexis [Bellino] off this season and she smiled the whole time and Alexis didn’t know what to do.”

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. on Bravo.
