'Pendulum,' Japanese Animation, Is A Viral Tearjerker (VIDEO)

Try Not To Cry When You See This

Japanese comedian Takefumi Kurashina, better known as Tekken (after the video game), recently released an emotional stop-motion animation, "Pendulum." In the four days it's been on YouTube, it's reached nearly 1.5 million hits.

Mostly known for his tribal face paint and crazy antics, this video may come as a surprise. The line-drawn story tells a typical tale of young lovers: nice girl falls for bad boy. "Pendulum" ticks through the couple's life by using a clever grandfather clock dial to signify the passage of time. What transpires is the kicker, though I won't spoil that part for you.
