Sean Hannity Wants To Interview Obama: 'I'd Be Respectful' (VIDEO)

Sean Hannity revealed that he wants to interview President Obama, stressing that he would be "respectful" of the president on his Tuesday night show.

He was responding to Dana Perino's earlier suggestion on "The Five" that Obama would decline an invitation to his show. "Why wouldn't Obama come on this program?" Hannity asked her.

He continued, "I think there’s a lot of people in the media — if you watch, you know, NBC and all these — they’re all sucking up to Obama. They won’t vet him like we’re going to do because they want interviews. Right?"

"If you were Obama, would you go on your show?” asked guest Stuart Varney.

“He's the President of the United States, Stuart,” Hannity answered. “I'd be respectful.”

The Fox News host then envisioned the interview. He alleged that the media has failed to hold Obama accountable, and said that he would be tougher on the president.

"What bothers me about the media — and this is why we’re vetting Obama, this is why we’re showing all the excuses that we did before Governor Romney’s speech — is what’s frustrating to me is, he’s made all these excuses," he said. "People don’t put it together. So I figured I’m going to do this now until November. I felt like we did things that the media wouldn't do in 2007 and '08, Stuart. You know. It’s frustrating."

Hannity, Perino and Varney went on to praise colleague Bret Baier's 2010 interview with the president, and also hit back at alleged criticism from Obama.
