'The Biggest Loser': Pro Surfer Bethany Hamilton Inspires Contestants In Hawaii (VIDEO)

Surfer Bethany Hamilton Inspires Contestants On 'The Biggest Loser'

"No Excuses" is the theme for this season of "The Biggest Loser" (Tue., 8 p.m. ET on NBC), and the contestants found it this week in the form of pro surfer Bethany Hamilton. Hamilton lost her arm to a shark at the age of 13, but as she told the contestants, she was back in the water a month later to learn how to continue pursuing her passion.

It all went down during a vacation in Hawaii that wasn't as fun as some of the contestants might have hoped. Dolvett and Bob made sure of that, as did a grueling challenge that revealed how alone Kim truly is in the game. Her game plan was to stay above the yellow line for the rest of the season, and she did one better. She was the biggest loser of the week. She also perhaps made a pal and potential future ally in Mark.

Jeremy continued to put his sister on a pedestal, handing her another individual Immunity win, though he put Mark through the wringer first. Mark said that America was right in thinking the brother-sister duo were mean. They're certainly treating anyone outside of their clique very poorly.

At the weigh-in, Kimmy fell below with her daughter Megan and threw herself on the mercy of her fellow contestants to send her home. They acquiesced, despite last week claiming they eliminated Emily over Kimmy because Emily was a bigger threat. In truth, it's about gameplay and alliances.

The drama continues on "The Biggest Loser" every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
