Hundreds Stick Inspiring Post-It Notes On Empty Storefront In Cambridge, Mass.

Empty Cambridge Storefront Becomes A Wall Of Inspiration

It began with a simple message, written anonymously on a Post-It note and stuck on the window of a vacant storefront: "Who Inspires You?"

That question began a Post-It Note revolution in Cambridge, Mass., as a Harvard Square storefront slowly transformed from drab and deserted to a colorful and inspiring wall of sticky tributes, CBS reports.

From thanking friends and parents to Tim Tebow, people have been effusive with their gratitude and recognition of those who have touched their lives.

With a new electronics store due to open in that space in six weeks, however, the future of the tribute windows appears uncertain.

Many Cambridge residents want the wall of Post-It notes to stick around.

"I think it just spreads some good positive energy that we can all use in our lives," Rebecca Kane told CBS.
