Porn Actress As Prom Date: Megan Piper and Emy Reyes Can't Accompany Mike Stone To Event

Porn star Megan Piper can't attend the prom of Minnesota high school student Mike Stone.

OAKDALE, Minn. -- A Minnesota high school senior who turned to the porn industry for a prom date found a couple of takers, but school administrators say the X-rated actresses aren't welcome.

Mike Stone says he sent dozens of Twitter messages to Hollywood celebrities, mostly porn actresses, and received a response from two, Megan Piper and Emy Reyes. They agreed to accompany him to the May 12 prom at Tartan High School in Oakdale, a St. Paul suburb.

But Superintendent Patty Phillips says such a date is prohibited by school policy that disallows a visitor if it's not in the best interest of the students.

The 18-year-old Stone says he'll hold an alternative party at the same time as the prom so he can bring his dates.

I'd be curious to know how often they've enforced that policy. Or is this the first time? And what's the metric they used to evaluate whether this would be in the "best interest"of the students?

With all the ticky little rules and regulations and the denial of various kids due to things that the schools or the closed minded parents don't approve of, the kids should just have their own party and skip Prom. It has gotten ridiculously expensive, anyway with limos, designer dresses, etc. An alternative party would probably be more fun. And, yes, I've raised two teenagers who are now adults.

Okay, here's the thing, the school wants to keep them out, that's fine. But I think it backfired. Now one of said "actresses" is going to throw a party for said student and his friends. let me ask you, at that age, where you want to be more Prom or an adult entertainment party? Yeah, school did not think that through at all.

My guess is that the administration's view is that a porn star presence would be "disruptive to the school" in that all the male attendees would be focused on her and all the girls would be jealous or disgusted by her presence.

But this is no different from any other high school relationship drama when you think about it.

This is a pretty interesting situation. A couple of years ago there was a girl who wanted to bring her 23-year-old brother to prom because he was just back from Iraq. She thought it would be a great showing of patriotism and thankfulness to have her brother back. The school said no and it stuck. They would not make an exception for her due to his age - they had a 20-year-old age limit. So I don't know if this is the same here - I don't know the girls' ages. But if schools wouldn't make an exception for a veteran, it is doubtful they will make it for porn stars. ;-)
