Evelyn Paswall, 83-Year-Old Woman, Sues Apple After Walking Into Glass Wall At New York Store

Has Apple's Design Become Too Seamless? One Octogenarian Thinks So

The Apple store's iconic glass walls may have put the company in a bit of legal trouble.

An 83-year-old woman is suing Apple for $1 million after she walked into a glass wall at a Manhasset, New York Apple store and broke her nose, CBS New York reports.

Evelyn Paswall says the company was negligent in failing to provide some sort of warning to alert guests about the see-through walls, according to the lawsuit obtained by ifoAppleStore.com.

However, the Mac Observer reports the store does have small white stripes on the panels to alert customers to the presence of a wall.

Paswall says her eyesight is still up to par, so whatever stripes Apple has on the panels aren't suitable:

"I may be elderly, but I’m very active, and I’m still driving too," she told the New York Post.

Apple has not yet responded to the lawsuit, the Mac Observer reports.
