Penn State Hasn't Yet Helped Alleged Sandusky Victims As Promised, Lawyer Says

In her first public statement after being appointed the chairwoman of the Penn State board of trustees, Karen Peetz made a bold and direct statement about the alleged victims of Jerry Sandusky:

"Immediately, we will reach out to the victims we know of and seek to pay for their abuse-related health costs, to pay for related counseling they have had to date, and to pay for counseling going forward related to the abuse."

The Patriot-News has reached out to those victims and their families or attorneys who have been amenable to speaking confidentially to the press.
