As a car guy, having a 4-car garage isn't such a big deal, and the indivdual elevators are a neat twist. What gives one pause, however, are the dumbwaiters for each of the Romney grandkids' Big Wheels.

I think this should be bigger news, and I think we should come up with a graph of the other ways that money could be used. For instance: How many needy people could be clothed? How much food could be provided to how many food banks? How many scholarships could be given to deserving students? That's what I think about when I hear about that much money and why I have no sympathy for rock stars and sports starts who find themselves bankrupt because they partied their money away. Or in this case, elevated it.

This isn't a judgement of rich people in any way, but who seriously needs an elevator in their home unless they are disabled or otherwise handicapped? Seriously? Is a few flights of stairs THAT bad to you? Ugh. Seems like a huge waste of money.

His wife has MS. I live near the Romney's, during his term as Governor Ann was not doing well. She suffers through extended bouts of extreme pain. He may not be the best candidate and he may have a ton of money but the guy is a good person and a great family guy.
