Nadya Suleman, 'Octomom,' Poses Semi-Nude For Cash (VIDEO)

LOS ANGELES — Financial struggles have led "Octomom" Nadya Suleman to pose semi-nude in photographs to run alongside a paid interview in a British magazine, her attorney said Tuesday.

With 14 children to care for, Suleman can't hold down a regular job to pay bills, lawyer Jeff Czech said.

"She's not doing well. She's struggling financially and she does whatever she can," Czech told The Associated Press.

In photos posted to TMZ.com and published in Britain's Closer magazine, Suleman wears panties and little else.

In an interview with TMZ's television show, Suleman said she didn't expect the photos to reach American readers so quickly, but she's not ashamed of posing for the magazine.

"I'm doing what I need to do to take care of my kids," Suleman said.

Czech declined to disclose how much Suleman was paid for the photo shoot and interview.

When Suleman gave birth to octuplets in 2009, she was an unemployed single mother who already had six other children. All her children were conceived through in vitro fertility treatments.

Her octuplets are the world's longest-surviving set.

Since the birth, she has cut deals with media outlets and posed in tabloid photo spreads to earn a living. She has promoted spaying and neutering for an animal rights group and gotten beat up in a celebrity boxing match.

In 2009, Suleman declined a million-dollar offer to appear in pornography.

Last year, she told Oprah Winfrey she was addicted to having children and called herself stupid for her financial problems.

Why don't you socially conscious liberals give her a little support. If only 1 of the 8 survived, she'd only have 7 kids. Lots of mothers on welfare have 8 or 9 kids! as for appearance, who cares really, its all opinion. However, watch this woman in an interview or on a show called celebridate. It is very disturbing. I think she suffers from some type of narcissistic personality disorder. She even has some type of psychological education as well which makes it all that more disturbing. She projects onto people like I have never witnessed and to think she is raising all those kids is the strange part. You just have to see it or hear it to know what I mean. Extremely sheltered and narrow minded and then over the top opinionated about others.

I just can't feel sorry for this woman. I don't know why the doctor gave her IVF when he/she knew she already had 6 kids, meaning she was very fertile. But at the same time she didn't have a job and couldn't take care of the kids. I have a bad feeling that she did this because she knew it would get her a headline, especially in todays reality tv starved population.

If she wants to pose nude, so be it. Take your clothes off, girl. However, not sure this is the best example to set for her little girls. It's like saying, "hey- if you make a really irresponsible decision (having 14 kids who you can't support) and are struggling financially, it's perfectly acceptable to earn money by exploiting your body." Hopefully, she will take a portion of the money she earns and get counseling.

I hope her welfare won't be suspended, as she gets about $7000.00 a month and $500.00 in food stamps. Time to think of the children and give them up to family's that will care for them. Three are on disability. She needs to get a job and take care of business, instead of dreaming she will get into acting. Either way she is a poor excuse for a mother.
