'Basketball Wives' Tami Roman Suffers Mild Heart Attack

"Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman is recovering after suffering a "mild heart attack" yesterday.

Roman, 41, was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a medical emergency, according to a statement from her publicist, posted on VH1.com.

"She has since been released and would like to let her fans and supporters know she is doing fine and looks forward to resuming her scheduled engagements," the release said.

Roman confirmed the cause of her health scare via Twitter last night and reassured fans that she is on the road to recovery.

According to VH1, Roman appeared "under the weather" at an appearance with the network the night before and tweeted, later that night, that she was "not feeling so well."

The National Heart Lung and Blood Institute describes the symptoms of a heart attack as follows:

• Chest pain or discomfort. This involves uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness, or pain in the center or left side of the chest that can be mild or strong. This discomfort or pain often lasts more than a few minutes or goes away and comes back.

• Upper body discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw, or upper part of the stomach.

• Shortness of breath, which may occur with or before chest discomfort.

• Nausea (feeling sick to your stomach), vomiting, light-headedness or sudden dizziness, or breaking out in a cold sweat.

• Symptoms also may include sleep problems, fatigue (tiredness), and lack of energy.

In addition to the drama unfolding on season four of Roman's reality show, the NBA divorcee and mother of two is being sued by a company called Crème De La Crème Hair for backing out of an endorsement deal in which she promised to feature their hair extensions on air, TMZ reports.

Roman failed to coordinate the company's appearance on the show, according to a lawsuit filed in Texas earlier this month, and is being asked to cover more than $75 thousand in damages.

In her last tweet since reports of her hospitalization surfaced, Roman says she's giving Twitter a rest and recovering stress free.

I highly imagine that Kesha, being the gentle lady that she is, no doubt sent a card, flowers or some sort of well wishes to Tami. Tami does not just have an anger management problem....the way she was gunning for that beautiful young lady was obvious. I don't get the Ghetto Mentality of 'poppin' someone at the ages of these women. Hopefully Tami will recover from this....and have a HEART about others. Disgraceful show!

I guess Tammi thought God wasn't watching her, she was so mean to Keisha and Suzi all she ever does is go back and pretend she likes them all and pimps them all out, haven't they figured that out yet? I can't believe they would take and put fish in Keyna's room how childish is that? aren't they all too old for that? and why was the producer of the show right there in the room watching them put the dead fish in Keyna's room? I mean really are they all scared of Tammi? I believe they are all scared of Tammi. I hope none of their children grow up and act like their mama's because their moms all are a hot mess and needs counseling.

Being a bully is not a good look. After last night episode i am so sick,, and more fustrated that the other basketball wives didn't speak up and stop the bullying.,, If you see it happening and don't stop it you are just as guilty of the person doing the bullying...

It really went to far last night.. i will not be watching the show anymore..

I used to like Tami when she first started on basketball wives. But now i don't have any respect for her. All that screaming and yelling and acting a fool and she in her forties. That's a shame. she keep talking about her life struggles....her struggles aint no different from the rest. That is no excuse to be a loud mouth bully. I can't stand her and from theses comments....not a lot of people do. She brought that heart attack on herself!
