Dogs On A Swing (VIDEO)

Posted: 03/28/2012 9:58 pm

This video compilation of various dogs on swings from Dogwork.com seems to prove two things:

One, in terms of dog dignity -- dogs should really never be on swings.

Two, in terms our viewing happiness -- dogs should really always be on swings.

Cute dogs, little dogs, dogs swinging in tandem: This video's got it all.

And when you're finally done watching this on repeat, we'll throw in this bear on a swing for good measure.

I thought it was adorable and they all seemed to be enjoying the ride. Not one of them was trying to get out and most looked completely relaxed. I too loved the old fashion wooden swing.....memories.

Those dogs had to be conditioned to be in those swings and feel safe. I found it unamusing actually. I did love the big band music in the background.

Oh I did take my Chi to the park once. She refused to be on the swing unless she was on my lap. Even then she was more interested after a minute to jump off and sniff the sand. When we got home she did the most amazing thing. She gave me a smooch. She actually did notice it was a change of scenery. I gave her a bath just in case she picked up anything. I know I must've brushed against something. I was itching like mad.

They're probably thinking 'Get me out of this thing!'

Again, anything for our amusement. Don't think it's cute at all. The dogs probably feel like vomiting, just not natural. They are not babies they are dogs who don't know what the h..ll is happening or why they feel dizzy. Sorry to be a kill joy, but I think it's abuse.

if you wanted to jump off a bridge, I wouldnt stop you

Such a humanitarian. I'll bet this isn't the first time you've used that. Is it in your favorites?
11:19 AM on 03/30/2012
Oh, brother. I love animals. I love my dogs. But really it just seems like you're trying to hard to throw around buzzwords like abuse. Is playing with my dog and rolling him over while we play fight...is that abuse? What about throwing his bone and him retreiving it? Is that me trying to exhaust him to death?
01:14 PM on 03/30/2012
I don't know it depends on how many times you throw it and how exhausted he gets. He could have a heart attack. Does that answer your question? I'll be happy to answer any further ones you have. In the meantime, keep pushing your dog on the swing I AM SURE HE L O V E S IT. He'll show ya his dinner just to prove how much he loves it. Oh I forget, they are just her for our amusement.

those seats need a place for tails. note to self, invent swings for dogs and approach municipalitys to install dog swings in dog parks.

My Dad has one of those swings that's a disc with a hole in the middle for a rope. The dog loves to play on the swing. She takes the end underneath the seat in her teeth and flings the seat around and chases it. And she also stands on her back legs and puts her front paws on the seat and sorts swings around. She hasn't been able to support her weight and pick up her back feet since she was a puppy. But she still enjoys "swinging" on the swing. She does this on her own, unlike the dogs in the movie that were obviously loaded into the seats.
