Hilary Duff: Being A Mom Is 'No Joke,' Tweets About Baby Luca

Hilary Duff: Being A Mom Is Hard Work!

New mom Hilary Duff is settling into motherhood, but she was quick to admit that it hasn't been easy, and she's still figuring things out. The singer and actress, who welcomed baby Luca Cruz with her husband, Mike Comrie, on March 20, has been keeping her fans updated via Twitter about adjusting to life as a new mom.

Since announcing the birth of baby Luca on her website and Twitter earlier this month, Duff has revealed how excited she is to be a mom.

"Wow I can't believe I have a baby!the most wonderful, sweet, adorable baby!thank you all for the messages and well wishes!love you all so much," she tweeted March 23.

The former "Lizzie McGuire" star is slowly getting used to her new role as a mom, which of course includes 4 a.m. feedings.

"Luca fed! Mamma fed! Time to do it all again in 2 hours! Oh how life has changed! Lol In such a wonderful way :)," she tweeted, later adding, "4 am...Sleepy eyed. Feeding baby..whew this job is no joke!"

We bet lots of new moms can relate. Jessica Simpson, are you taking notes?

Though it's not always easy, parenthood is a job Duff and Comrie have been preparing for, and the singer talked about her excitement with E! News in December.

"I think it's such a miracle," Duff said, adding, "I think feeling the baby move and getting those little kicks…seeing it happen through your shirt or looking at your belly, it's like, wow, there's a life inside of me. It's a piece of my husband and me and it's really wild. It's really exciting to think about the future and also a little scary…but so exciting at the same time.
