'NCIS': Director Vance Must Choose Between Family And Duty

On "NCIS" (Tue., 8 p.m. ET on CBS) Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) was torn between his duty at work and loyalty to his family after his brother-in-law Michael was implicated in a murder investigation.

Michael had always felt like a son to Vance, and so he helped him by advising that he had to convince Special Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) of his innocence.

However, Gibbs had discovered Michael's sealed criminal record, and when his interrogation became harsh, Vance crossed a line by stepping in and stopping it. "Michael, don't say another word," he warned.

Outside, Vance then told Gibbs to look at another suspect instead, adding, "I'm not satisfied with the job you're doing."

An angry Gibbs challenged him about Michael's record, saying "You lied to me Leon!"

The drama continues on "NCIS," Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
