Donald Trump: Hillary Clinton Will Run In 2016

Trump Clinton

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said she won't be running for president again and will, in fact, make her current role in the administration her "last public position." Billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump apparently disagrees.

"I think, assuming she is healthy, which I hope she will be, I think she probably runs after the next four years, I would imagine," Trump predicted in an interview with Greta Van Susteren of Fox News on Wednesday.

"Hillary Clinton, I think, is a terrific woman. I mean I'm a little biased because I've known her for years. I live in New York, she lives in New York, I've known her and her husband for years and I really like them both a lot. And I think she really works hard," Trump said.

Despite all of Trump's praise, however, the surrogate for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and vocal critic of President Obama -- sometimes in birther fashion -- appeared hesitant to go against his recent trend of supporting Republican politics.

"I don't want to get into this because I'll get myself into trouble," said Trump, who left the GOP last year and registered as an independent. "I just like her. I like her and I like her husband."

Trump isn't the only one who's recently expressed excitement about the prospect of Clinton changing her mind about her political future.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) told BuzzFeed this month that she'd be encouraging Clinton to get in the race ahead of the next presidential election.

"I'm going to be one of the first to ask Hillary to run in 2016," she said. "I think she would be incredibly well-poised to be our next Democratic president. I think she's extremely well prepared. Her experience as Secretary of State has not only elevated her stature and experience, but she's proven she's someone who can get things done and I think she'd be an outstanding candidate."

I don't think Hillary will run again for president. She, like Bill, will be far too interested in cashing in on her "public service." The mega-millionaire Clintons could easily become billionaires selling their combined influence at the expense of the nation.

Given her need for the spotlight and headlines, maybe when Hillary leaves the State Department (soon?) the Donald can sign her up for Celebrity Apprentice before Dancing with the Stars or the "Real Housewives" get her. All would be worthy of her considerable talent.

Perhaps Hillery may be getting a little burned out in her old age, but good ole' Bill just can't stand not being in the White House.
I would look for this pair to try again, if for nothing more than to rub salve on his super ego.

You can have her now! www.americanselect.org has a ballot spot in the national elect in all 50 states. You can go and support Hillary Clinton there and get to vote for her in November. Hillary is the best choice and by far would be way better then any of our current choices!

Oh also go out and vote for Hillary at Time's 100 people poll. http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,2107952_2107953_2109579,00.html?xid=fb-time100

Hillary Clinton has more ability and qualifications than any Republican currently offering himself to the nation as President. She is an amazing woman who has brought honor and dignity to the role of Secretary of State. If she does decide to run in 016 she will win. The Republicans will still be fighting among themselves and be incapable of putting up a viable candidate just as they are now. And nobody needs Trump to see that scenario!

HOW has she brought honor and dignity to the role of Secretary of State??? Tell us pleaseeeeeeeeee

She has repaired the relationship with our oldest ally, France. She has earned the respect of her peer foreign ministers among close allies. She has at least partiality succeeded in re-setting the diplomatic tone with Russia. Because of the working relationships with her peers, we were able to respond quickly and effectively in places like Libya. She speaks articulately and credibly.

Hillary's political train is approaching the end of the line-----and I believe she is going to get off at the end of the station. She has too much old baggage (figuratively) behind her. It is best that she leave on a good note, rather than to try to re-live that dream----you know, we all have dreams, but for most of us---they are just that----dreams! Remember the good ones----and try to forget the bad ones!

I agree. Let her quit while she is ahead (and that is VERY debatable). As to other posters claiming her hubby had great success as president, you are all misinformed and naive. He was lucky to have a booming world economy and low oil prices in the 90s, but even with this, he came up short. His failures on foreign policy are significant and far-reaching especially with N Korea and Bin Laden & Al Qaeda .

That's your opinion. Clinton left office with the highest approval rating of any president since WW2. That's the American people's opinion. I'll go with them.
