Kate Flannery Of 'The Office' To Host 'StandUp In Stilletos' And More Casting News

'Office' Star Lands New Comedy Series

"The Office" actress Kate Flannery has landed her own standup series titled "StandUp In Stilletos" for TV Guide, set to air on June 16 at 10 p.m ET.

"We are continuing to invest in original series and exclusive programming that will draw entertainment fans closer to their favorite stars," TV Guide Network chairman Allen Shapiro said in a statement, referencing "StandUp" and the network's other new series, "Rove LA." "'StandUp in Stilettos' and 'Rove LA' will offer viewers fresh comedy programming with some of the best-known celebrities in Hollywood today, as well as up-and-coming talent."

The woman-centric 10-episode series will feature three comedians per installment to be be filmed in front of a live audience.

In addition to starring as Meredith on "The Office," Flannery's other TV credits include "The Life & Times Of Tim," "The Christmas Pageant," "The Soup" and more.

In other casting news ...

Jordan Belfi is headed to "Grey's Anatomy." Belfi has landed a two-episode guest spot on the ABC medical drama. The "Entourage" vet will play Ryan, a funny, adventurous patient. [TVLine]

"Cougar Town" star Ian Gomez is joining the cast of "Touch." Gomez is heading to Fox's new Kiefer Sutherland drama as Wade, a tsunami survivor, who constantly searches for objects from debris and returns them to their rightful owners. [Vulture]

Elias Koteas will guest star on on the finale of "Unforgettable." The "Combat Hospital" alum is headed to the CBS drama as a man Carrie Wells suspects of murdering her sister. [TVLine]

Rachael Harris nabs "Suits" role. The "New Girl" actress will appear in Season 2 of the USA drama as a character who causes problems for Pearson Hardman's junior partner Louis, played by Rick Hoffman. [THR]

"Star Trek" vet Faran Tahir heads to "Burn Notice." Tahir will appear on Season 6 of the USA series alongside other guest stars John C. McGinley, Taryn Manning and Anthony Ruivivar. [TV Guide]

Rebecca Creskoff has landed a recurring role on "Covert Affairs." "Hung" star Creskoff has been cast as Lena Smith, a new mentor to Annie (Piper Parabo) on the USA series. [TV Guide]
