The Panic List: What Would You Listen To If You Were Going To Lose Your Hearing? (AUDIO)

What Would You Listen To You Were Going To Lose Your Hearing?

Yesterday, we featured an interview with the filmmaker of "Lost and Sound," a new documentary that explores how deaf people experience music after losing their hearing. It follows three subjects who each found inroads into music, despite the seemingly unmoving roadblock. Lindsey Dryden, director of the film and obsessive music listener, asked visitors on her website to name three songs they would spin if they only had a few minutes of ordinary hearing left, dubbing it "The Panic List." Now, we at HuffPost Culture are asking you, dear readers, for your "panic lists." We've put the question to our followers on Facebook and Twitter, but we'd like to hear from any/all of you and keep the list growing. Thus far, the answers have ranged from the final trio in "Der Rosenkavalier" to Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beethoven, Radiohead and Bon Iver have all made multiple appearances. What are your songs of choice? Let us know in the comments, or tweet at us @HuffPostCulture. Also be sure to wander over to the "Lost and Sound" site, where you can add your "Panic List" choices to the main source.

Listen, in no particular order, to the answers we've received so far, and check out the full Panic Tracklist below the playlist. To skip to another song in the playlist, click the 'next' button next to the 'play' button, or click on the 'play' button in a square to view the entire playlist:
