Trayvon Martin's Email And Facebook Accounts Allegedly Hacked By White Supremacist

Posted: 03/29/2012 6:02 pm Updated: 03/30/2012 1:08 am

A white supremacist hacker claims to have broken into Trayvon Martin's email and social networking accounts and posted his private messages online.

"I realize that some of this information might be to [sic] extreme to believe," a hacker named Klanklannon wrote, according to Gawker, which has an original copy of the message thread posted to the popular, unruly message board 4chan. "That's why I offer you evidence. Here are my sources."

Editor's note: Some readers may find language in this article objectionable.

A slide posted to the message board titled "Trayvon Martin Used Marijuana Habitually," apparently shows a conversation between Martin and a friend about getting high. Another alleged that Martin was a drug dealer and showed a picture of Martin standing "aggressively with a large amount of cash in his hand."

Gawker reported that Klankannon shared several of Martin's usernames and email accounts on the thread. The hacker also said that the passwords had been changed to racist slurs like "niggerniggernigger" and "coontrayvonnigger."

Martin, 17, was shot and killed by self-appointed neighborhood watch member George Zimmerman as Martin returned to his father's house in Sanford, Fla., on the night of Feb. 26. Zimmerman claimed that Martin looked "suspicious" in a 911 call. Not long after the call, Martin and Zimmerman engaged in a fight, and Zimmerman shot Martin in the chest. Zimmerman was not charged in the shooting, which has sparked a national outcry and drawn considerable media attention.

A much-circulated photo of a grimacing teen with his middle finger extended -- that many right-leaning sites have suggested is the Trayvon Martin the "mainstream media" does not want the public to see -- was also originally circulated on the white supremacist site stormfront.org, according to the Columbia Journalism Review. The person in that photo was not Martin, but another teenager who shared the name.

Slate's political reporter Dave Weigel, who has long covered the conservative movement, said that the misattributed photo was "part of a new cottage industry of 'truth about Trayvon' content, calibrated to convince people that they really shouldn't worry about the implications of this killing."

"Why, the kid wasn't even a saint!" Weigel said of the logic of such conservative sites. "He might have been shot after brawling with the man who creeply [sic] followed him around the gated community?"

But Gawker's Adrian Chen wrote that the attempts to smear Martin have backfired "because the picture they paint is of a normal high school junior preparing for college."

A screenshot of Trayvon's Gmail inbox our source provided us is heartbreaking. Martin apparently used his Gmail account for his college search, and it's filled with emails about upcoming SAT tests and scholarship applications. ("Trayvon, now is the best time to take the SATs!") One email included the results of a career aptitude test, our source said. It "talked about his interest in aeronautics and stuff."

This is not the first time Martin's online life has made the news. Earlier this week, conservative site Daily Caller obtained and posted messages from Martin's since-deleted Twitter account that date back to the beginning of the year. When The Huffington Post talked to the Caller's executive editor, David Martosko, who published Martin's tweets under his byline, Martosko said that he did so because his audience was hungry for information about the Martin shooting and the two people involved.

"These were not protected tweets," Martosko said. "While he was alive, these were not outside of the public sphere in any shape or form."

Martosko said that the Caller ran Martin's tweets "without value judgment," and would that he would publish Zimmerman's tweets if he was made aware of an account opened and used by Zimmerman.

Garbage article. His inbox was heartbreaking, "Trayvon time to take the SATs" UMMMM I have hundreds of those types of emails...its called BOTS, suddenly the HuffPost has never heard of them? Complete ignorance.

All of this being said, the kid still didnt deserve to be hunted down by a maniac like Zimmerman. If you want to talk of anyones past, look at his involvement with police

How did Zimmerman with his shoddy past ever get a permit to carry a gun. This is something that should be looked into.

There is nothing in Zimmerman's past that would prevent him from getting a gun permit. He has never been convict of any crime or had any other issue that would prevent him from having a gun permit. What is there to look into. It seems as though you have fallen victim to the lies, rumors, distortions and fantasies that have been put out about Zimmerman.

Actually he has had many previous arrest but got off since his father was a judge. But I will post one of the articles just in case you can't find it.

They are trying to bring up disciplinary problems at school for Martin but Zimmerman's criminal history is just important. But focusing on the article, I think its very ironic that Zimmerman is backed by a bunch of closet racist. Just further supports the case.

So it is ok for the black panthers to put bounties on white mens heads and intimidate and threaten violence against whites at the voting stations? It looks to me there is a race war already started by blacks against whites and the government is allowing them to do it.

Your not lying. It was cool for Supremacist gangs to run around terrorizing minorities. It was fine when Blacks were randomly assualted, but when the roles are reversed its a issue.

I'm not condoning anything, but the whites has done and continues to do it, so wtf are you complaining about. Heck, you really need to be concerned with your own race killing each other.

I'm so tired of the the Racist BS and black propaganda around this case, I feel like mailing a one way airline ticket for Cuba to Zimmerman. With all the rich brothers that make a buck off of racial hatered and black vigilantism and a black president trying to motivate black voters to put him back in the white house, Zimmerman doesn't have a chance at a fair trial

See, there you go.

"I feel like," does not equal "I plan to." Not ever. It's not even close.

For example, I feel like shooting Communists, but as my country is not presently at war with any Communists, I have no plans to shoot any at the present time.

You know, if you want to know more about what speech is actionable and what is not, do a little reading on the First Amendment.. You will find that there is no federal crime, or any other crime, at least in the United States, in talking about feeling like doing anything. That would be a crime against 'badthink," right out of George Orwell

Sending someone isn't a crime - federal or state. The only crime that could possibly happen would be if Zimmerman actually used the ticket. Zimmerman had no reason to use the ticket - he's not guilty and that is how this will all end with a not guilty verdict.

This is just my opinion and I am sure many will disagree with me and that is fine, it is only my
opinion. This was a closed case and would of remained closed if their had not be so much
violence breaking out from the black community. The law officials had to do something to keep
all this violence from getting worse and I do think it would of got a lot worse. So they had to
arrest Z! Now as to being found guily, no I do not think he will be found quilty. This will still
not be good enough for some but it will probably not get out of hand as it was before.
I am sure eveyone remembers Rodney Kings and how violent and crazy things got with that
well I think this is where this was headed with all the violence had Z not be arrested and
no one wanted to live through all that again. .I just feel like they had to arrest Z because of
what was going to happen if they did not. This is just my opinion and i may be totally wrong
Do I think Z is quilty of the charge he is charged with, I will keep that to myself and see how
all this plays out when a verdict is reached.

The irony of Zimmerman's obviouss dislike of "Mexicans" and his clear choice of being known as white with a white man's name is that now the whites who he chose to emulate cast him aside and call him "MEXICAN". I believe that is called poetic justice.

Question???? A black and a white have chidren, their son marries a white woman and they have children who are now 3/4 white but still have dark skin. Are they white or black????

" 'Black" [l]ike Obama. . ."

That's rich! Obama "Black!"

Obama is a total phoney about race. Raise White and Asian, he prfetended to be Black to rise the quota express, all the way to the tom.

Why, he had to take lessons on how to do "Black Talk" when he got into politics by going to a Black church (Which he dropped like a hot rock, when it became politically inconvenient.) He doesn't do "Black Talk" very will, you know. It comes through as quite contrived.

Personally, I don't hold this against him. He has a right to define himself as he wants. I just recognize that, culturally--and that is what matters-- the word, "Black," does not apply to Obama.

Why is it that people think they can do anything in an electronic age with so many smart phones, tablet, etc., and they think their social networking is 'private' and it may be to some extent if only family and friends can accces it. As I understand it, any thing you post on social network pages, any emails, online IM's or chat rooms are digitally recorded and kept by those companies in case they ever receive a federal warrant for a prosecutor to have access to them. If you want to vent, I suggest you do it in private so it won't be held against you in a court of law.

WOW! You people are out of control at HP0...Now you elevate this article once again because you have a new thread about GZ's Myspace.

You did this to mislead people into thinking that the information that was found all throughout Trayvon's social networking was false information that was planted by white supremacist hackers.

The truth is that Trayvin and his friends and family's information on their social networking accounts were already spread throughout the internet prior to Trayvon's account being hacked.
Once it was exposed that he communicated about things such as dealing weed is when accounts were set to private.
It wasn't until after the attempted cover-up is when people started hacking into his account and reactivating it.

No, I don't expect to to post this but hey it was worth a shot.

You have no proof it wasn't planted by a white supremacist or the bigots who run the rightwing news sites. Still making assumptions from tweets. You have no evidence he was a drug dealer. When will you learn it's shameful to smear a dead teenager with lies?

What wasn't planted?
Real photos of TM?
Hardyharharhar...Keep spinning.

It was his FB communications that blatantly proves that he sold weed.
If you can't see that, then you must be a square.

Stop smearing TM by not embracing his life in it's entirety.
He sold weed...Get over it. You are only an anon person on HP0.

What do you think was "planted"?

You don't even have a clue about the information that was on his social networking sites.
You shouldn't comment about topics that you are clueless about.

No they will just use fake photos and claim it is him. I'm talking about the posts. Could have easily been photoshopped. Nothing in his FB proves anything. You are seeing what you want to see and drawing your own ignorant conclusion based on your limited knowledge of S FL slang. You better hope you aren't judged after death by your online comments. Someone may assume you are a racist and sympathetic to child killers. I've read every one of his so-called tweets or fb postings. Including the ones where he talks about girls, food, music, movies, and college like a typical teen. I don't believe he was a drug dealer making 14k deals. He died with $22 in his pocket. If someone sends me a message on fb saying they 'need plant' you may want to keep in mind that I may KNOW a drug dealer, but that doesnt make me a drug dealer. But you're are free to twist his words or the words of his friends to fit your agenda. Keep spewing your assumptions about a dead kid who can't defend himself, it says more about you than it does Trayvon.

The only one doing the photoshopping was NBC when they completely changed the 911 call more to their liking. Why does your picture look like an angry, scowling black man? Is this the real you or did someone photoshop it?

You start off by referring to fake photos.
Then you claim that you are talking about the posts?
Then you immediately state, "Could have easily been photoshopped."

Wah?
Can you please remain focused?

Are you talking about posts or are you talking about GZ's bloody photo?
It seems as if you are 'talking' about both.

Anyway...Could've, should've would've is not solid evidence and is a complete waste of time.

Stop projecting...I have not drawn any conclusions like you have done. You are also, obviously the person who has been in complete denial of many details.i.e., seeing what you want to see.

What S FL slang do you think that I am unaware of?

No typical teens do not act in the manner that was portrayed throughout his social networking.
Or perhaps, that's the world that you live in and that's the way that you raise your children. Therefore, you see nothing outside of your little world.

I never stated anything about 14k deals.

Oh and guess what...Not being the dealer but facilitating a deal is also against the law.

The reason why I haven't mentioned the 14k is because I am not making assumtions.
Thanks for pointing that out.
