Officials are searching the waters after a construction worker was believed to have fallen off the Throgs Neck Bridge.
The worker apperently fell at around 8 am after the platform he was working on gave way. He was changing his harness when he fell.
The NYPD and Coast Guard are combing the waters to find him.
UPDATE: Gothamist reports that the MTA is now considering the incident a "recovery mission," as both the NYPD and Coast Guard search for the worker's body, sending their condolences to the worker's family.
