LOOK: Animals Up For Adoption At Mega Match-A-Thon

A big boxer named Robertino is looking for a new home. So is a little black-and-white puppy who is too young even to have a name yet. And a social little Siamese-mix named Kool.

And how can you resist Oreo, a 6-month-old retriever who loves to be carried like a baby?

We can't get enough of the gorgeous dogs and cats in this week's slideshow of adoptable animals -- and they're all waiting to meet you in person at this weekend's major pet adoption event.

The Washington Animal Rescue League is holding a Mega Match-A-Thon on March 31 and April 1. Dogs and cats galore from seven area shelters will be available for adoption at this event, being held at WARL (71 Oglethorpe St. NW).

Give Udaya a pat from us if you go -- she's the beautiful 1-year-old husky mix with two different colored eyes.

The video for the event is below the slideshow.

Have you found your perfect match? We love hearing about your pets! Send pictures of your animals to arin.greenwood@huffingtonpost.com. We are always happy to hear from D.C.-area rescue groups, as well.
