Koa Misi, Miami Dolphins Linebacker, Arrested On California Battery Warrant

Another Dolphins Player Arrested

Miami Dolphins linebacker Koa Misi was arrested at his South Florida home Friday by the Broward Sheriff's fugitive squad.

The 25-year-old Utah grad is being held on an out-of-state felony battery warrant from Santa Barbara, California, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

No details on the California battery case were immediately available.

"We are aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering the information," said Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene said in a statement. "As a result, we will refrain from any comment."

Misi, who was arrested in Weston, was drafted by the Dolphins in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft with the team's 40th pick.

This is a developing story.
