'Octomom' Nadya Suleman Faces Eviction This Week, Foreclosure Delayed

The Octomom and her kids may soon be looking for a new house.

Nadya Suleman and her 14 children are facing eviction from their La Habra, Calif. home, the Los Angeles Times reports. Still, she may get a bit of a reprieve because the foreclosure sale could be delayed until late April. According to Jeff Czech, who told the LA Times that he is Suleman's attorney, he was able to have the foreclosure delayed for "a short while," adding, "We are working on it. The foreclosure sale is not likely this month."

But Czech may not be authority on the issue. He told the Associated Press earlier this week that Suleman is "not doing well [and that] she's struggling financially," claims she denied in an interview with The Huffington Post. She also said she hasn't worked with Czech since last May.

Suleman, better known as Octomom after she gave birth to octuplets in 2009, has been facing eviction and foreclosure on her home since 2010.

The 36-year-old mother and reality star has been struggling to pay her mortgage for years, prompting others to look for ways to help the Octomom while still making a profit. In 2010, Vivid Entertainment co-founder Steve Hirsh, who once offered Suleman $1 million to perform in one of his adult videos, offered to purchase the $450,000 bank note connected with the home, but quickly dropped the offer.

Hirsch did send a check to cover Suleman's 2011 February mortgage payment, but said she wouldn't accept it. Hirsch told the OC Register, "[Suleman] completely understands that she is in no position to turn down a gift ... [She] has made it clear she doesn't want to perform in an adult movie, which we respect. She's a fascinating personality and we had hoped to be able to help her with her financial situation."

More recently, Suleman agreed to pose partially nude for Britain's Closer magazine to help pay her debts. "I got $8,000 [for the photos]. I have to do what I have to do to take care of my family, and I'm not ashamed. I'm not ashamed at all," she told Anderson Cooper on his talk show "Anderson" airing March 30.

But Suleman isn't the only celebrity dealing with mortgage trouble these days. Even teen popstar Justin Bieber, who has raked in millions of dollars, is having trouble getting approved for the mortgage he wants on a 9,000 square foot home near Hollywood, according to TMZ.

Talk about disaster movie. She should have done the right thing and put the octuplets up for adoption. It was an entirely selfish decision to keep them, and now the taxpayers must rescue them all. Arghhh!!!

So, everyone who feels she should not be allowed to keep all 14 kids and is being negligent should sign a Petition. This Petition with signatures should be presented to the state Department of Health & Human services (dpss) -- and each person should include a statement of Witness of some aspect of neglect or impropriety noted in coming to (or passing by) her house.
If we organize - against her disorganization - we can have some impact!!

She thought the 14 kids would land her a primo spot in reality TV. She never believed she would actually have to pay for a home, food, diapers. The woman is selfish and now in big trouble. The kids need food, and most likely a stable home- without her. She could visit between porno sets.

The tone deafness exhibited by this woman is staggering. She willfully chooses to have 14 kids with neither a husband nor a job and then is shocked when she finds herself broke and on welfare.... THEN, she is further shocked that people are angry that their tax dollars go toward funding her mania for children.

I've read & heard several people refer to Nadya as "mentally ill". I'd like to know if this SO CALLED "mental illness" is the same disease afflicting the Bankers, Mortgage Lenders, Investment Bankers, etc., who contributed to the economic collapse, by swindling the economy out of billions of dollars. Same thing, different methodology. Let's face it some people are assXXXXX, who are selfish and only care about themselves.

What is the name of this mental illness???

Why is it that anyone who acts out (understatement) has to be given a medical diagnosis and thus an EXCUSE.

The go-to diagnoses are: Bipolar, Addict, etc. While there are people who are truly mentally ill, Nadya just seems to be an incessant liar who clearly knows right from wrong. She tried desperately to cover her tracks so that people woud not find out that she'd purposely been implanted with 12 embryos. The fact that she was putting her babies and herself in danger, did not matter to her. 3 of her oldest children have disabilities, yet she still continued trying to get pregnant, so that she could become rich and famous courtesy of a reality tv show.

This women's actions are inexcusable. I feel very sorry for all her children.

This woman just said, I'm not on welfare, i'm getting food stamps.  People should investigate those abusing the system not me and my $2000/mon I get from the state for the 14 kids I had through invitro fertilization.  No sympathy for her at all.

The doctor who created this monster should be in jail. She should be in jail for being felony stupid, but then, who is going to take care of her poor kids.
