Weekend To-Do: Netflix Seeks Local Actors, A Sushi Festival And An Underwater Egg Hunt

WASHINGTON -- This weekend, the cherry blossom-mania continues with Japanese Culture Day at the Library of Congress and a high-end sushi extravaganza at the Ronald Reagan Building.

There's also an underwater Easter egg hunt for the kiddies, a tribute to departed Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Anthony Shadid and an open casting call for a Netflix drama.

Comedian and former "Whose Line Is It Anyway" improv master Wayne Brady takes to the Kennedy Center tonight for a performance of, "Wayne Brady Sings the Sammys" with the National Symphony Orchestra Pops. Brady will belt out classics made famous by rat packer Sammy Davis Jr. and R&B legend Sam Cooke. Brady's run started last night and goes through Saturday. Tickets range from $20 to $85, and are available here. 8 p.m., 2700 F St. NW.
