'The Academy Of Country Music Awards': Ashton Kutcher Serenades The Nominees (VIDEO)

Ashton Kutcher Sings Country At 'Academy Of Country Music Awards'

Ashton Kutcher was honored to present the award for female vocalist of the year at "The 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" (Sun., 8 p.m. ET on CBS). But he wanted to make sure he properly congratulated and honored all the women in his category.

"I'd like to pre-emptively say to whichever gal is about to step on this stage," he said. "I'd like to say congratulations. And to all you ladies that aren't going to step on this stage, I'd like to sing a little song."

In full cowboy dress, the Iowa native then sang a few lines from George Strait's "I Cross My Heart" before handing the award over to Miranda Lambert. It was her second win of the night, following her win for Album of the Year. Lambert joined the duet pairing of Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson as the only two-time winners on the night.

"American Idol" alum Scotty McCreery was honored with Top New Artist, while "The Voice" judge, and Lambert's husband, Blake Shelton took Top Male Vocalist. Entertainer of the Year went to Taylor Swift.
