We all know the best way to shed pounds the healthy way is to slash total calories and boost exercise. But sometimes that's easier said than done -- prompting experts to conjure up little tricks to keep our portions in check.

The latest? Well, for the bargain price of around $20 you can have your very own pair of weight-loss sunglasses.

In the video above The Doctors discuss how wearing blue tinted sunglasses or eating off of blue plates can suppress appetite.

We get the reasoning -- blue sushi or teal pasta is not the most appetizing sight, but who other than Johnny Depp, is going to rock those shades in a restaurant or at work?
