For all of those who want to blame varied forms of media and the influence born out on a daily basis... isn't this God's will?

Now this is something beyond me, how is it possible that the convict is at large. A person in broad day light enter a school starts shooting kills five and many other injured, and then escape so easily. And according to the officials a suspect has been arrested. What about the people around except for the dead one's were they blind or intoxicated that neither any made an attempt to run after the convict, nor they can recognize if the suspect arrested is the same person or not....... I am all confused don't know what to say any further---

you know what the problem is?
We just don't have enough guns in America..
I'm off to get my 8 year old niece a shot gun, and my 9 months old nephew an AK-47..
Bring back the Wild West ya'll..
YEE-HAW!!!!

We need even tougher gun laws.. I vote for psychological evaluations and a deep background check before a gun license is fully handed out to ordinary citizens..

my condolences to everyone involved with this tragedy..

When you give up your guns, your giving up your rights as well. your government would love you for that. We can become monotone drones that do when told to. Every day some of your freedoms are stripped from you and you probably dont even realize it. hanging on to your weapons is your right to security. remember this folks, fighting tierany foreign or domestic, is not only your right, but your obligation. Getting rid of some news stations that "plaster the disaster" continuosly over and over, wouldnt be such a bad idea either.

Hang onto all your guns and get rid of the media - - that'll stop the gun violence! (snark)

Guns and the Teaching of Evolution are deadly concoction. When faith in God evaporates, morality disintigrates.
01:34 PM on 04/03/2012
Some of the most religious people tend to be the least moral. 99% of the people in prison are christians. Faith in an invisible father figure does not make one a better person. Treating others as you would like to be treated does that. Its called empathy, and you do not need a religion for that.

You do need faith in a loving God if you want the world to have genuine morality. In a World where many are without faith in a God, morality can just be a disguise to victimize the gullibles as shown in the realities around you. You maybe the exception to the general rule but very rare. Godless people can be nice and sweet at any moment but then can be evil the next because they can do anything no holdbarred, while a true believer will think a thousand times before they can succumb to evil temptations. The World is a lot safe with true believers of a loving God.

When you define yourself as just animal body, not a soul from God, you'll likely develop the morality of an animal and that is,"loving only your own and eat others not your own". But when you have faith in a loving God who loves all HIS children, you will treat others as your own to care and love for the love of God- a true genuine morality.

Also, your statistics is flawed because no statistician can be inside one's head to know what one truly believes. Just because a prisoner pick up a bible book to get early parole does not mean he believes in God. People can lie or pretend for a reason.

What a strange curriculum mix that school has. To have something as reliable as Asian medicine at the same place that trains to become evangelicals is really very strange. What a clash of energies!

Don't you folks remember your 10th grade intro to Darwinism's "natural law of selection by struggle and the survival of the fittest”?
Gee, you'd think people had forgotten that ideas have consequences. Turns out, bad ideas have bad consequences. So quit your bellyaching: we set up this kind of world a generation ago.
Live with it.

Its not an idea, its a theory, that has been observed in the wild. Just because it does not mesh with your mythology does not make it untrue.

Them who give up freedom for security deserve niether. Winston Churchill. What we need is enforcement of the laws we already have. This has not been done.

Yeah, sure. That will make the bad guys obey them. They know a school is a great hunting grounds. The students can't fire back.

Its a terrible tragedy. Outlawing guns will do nothing to stop the criminaly insane. Governments will always have guns, therefore criminals will allways have access to guns. Here's a thought! If everybody else or just a few people around the shooter had guns, he would be dead and we would have a lot less dead innocent people. The statistics proove all throughout the world, there are less crimes where citizens are allowed to legaly carry guns. But liberals don't like statistics or facts. They like dissarming the people so government can do with us as it pleases. We are at their mercy.

we SHOULD be wondering why so many people are USING the gun as an answer to their problems now.......
People had access to guns decades ago, and this sort of tragedy was unthinkable.
I'm a firm believer that the media blasting every incident at us at maximum volume repeatedly until the next tragedy strikes only gives the attention seeking "timebomb" more incentive to explode. They went so far as to glamourize the Columbine killers with their own made for TV movie.
My heart goes out to the friends & families of the victims......and I hope our gov't will eventually see this perfect storm of media driven violence that we're in the grip of.

See it can happen anywhere.Anywhere.No laws or metal detectors will protect you from someone that wants to harm you.Only YOU can do that.It is not living in fear to prep yourself and loved ones for something hopefully will never happen to you.

Thoughts and prayers with the people affected by these shootings.

If only the gun sellers do the background checks, and laws are not adequately enforced, (as in CA)gun violencet will continue to escalate in frequency.
04:31 AM on 04/03/2012
they can outlaw guns and violent video games all they want, but bad people will find a way to get them. drugs are against the law but people still get their hands on them...
