Shotgun Makes A Rainbow When Fired Repeatedly Into Creek (VIDEO)

The Huffington Post  |  By Posted: 04/ 2/2012 3:39 pm Updated: 04/ 2/2012 3:40 pm

Apparently, shotguns are good for more than just hunting. They can also be used to make rainbows.

Hard to believe? Doubters need look no further than this YouTube video in which a woman named Kirsti fires round after round into a silent creek, with a rainbow forming in the resulting mist.

Perhaps next time she might even catch some fish with that expert shot of hers.

Can't get enough rainbow-tainment? Check out this comical interpretation of a double rainbow that appeared in Los Angeles or this hilarious hiker's reaction to a full double rainbow near Yosemitebear Mountain.

Here at HuffPo this will probably be the only time this year rainbows won't be attached to the gay rights movement.

The Father who shoe his daughters lap top should have used a shotgun. That would have been much more graphic instead of a few holes.

Can do a lot safer and better with a garden hose.

When compared to a shotgun, garden hoses fail in the WOW! factor.

A high speed projectile hitting still water can have the same effect as hitting concrete. I've seen shotgun pellets bounce off a pond and hit trees on the other side. Starscreamsghost69 knows what he's talking about. It's never safe to shoot into water.

LOL, it's dangerous because water richochets round bullets, like a flat stone on a lake. She's really lucky those didn't come back at her, really. That's what the previous poster meant, not that some elusive fish or scuba diver was in danger =).

"Hey Y'all - ever seen somebody ____ (fill in the blank with whatever) with a 12-gauge shotgun?"

Ah yes, the famous last words for many Republican gun fetishist idiots who are no longer with us.

Lead has been shown to permanently reduce the cognitive capacity of children at extremely low levels of exposure.

Apparently her family has been doing this for generations.

Now that she shot the leprechaun at the end of the rainbow, who's gonna make my Lucky Charms?

I'm pretty sure that if the wildlife in that creek could speak they'd have told her to get the hell away from there, stop making all that damned noise and, most important, stop pouring poisonous lead shot into their home!

The fish didn't care, only the scuba diver. The fish were just happy for some excitement for once.
