Detroit Lions Jerseys: Nike Reveals New Uniforms For 2012 (PHOTOS)

LOOK: New Jerseys For The Lions

Don't worry, the Lions won't look too different when they break out their new Nike uniforms.

While all the NFL teams are getting jerseys from Nike for 2012, replacing Reebok's uniforms, not all are equally new.

The Detroit Lions' new uniforms look close to the same on the outside, but according to Nike, they'll be lighter and stronger for "a streamlined shrink-wrap fit."

Why no big change for the Lions? Well, it's not because the current design is near-and-dear to fans' hearts -- under NFL rules, they aren't allowed to change their logo again for another two years. In the meantime, they'll have to live with uniforms that feel new, even if they don't look it.
