Scott Brown's Zeta Psi Fraternity Brothers Fundraise For His Senate Campaign

Scott Brown's Frat Brothers Pitch In To Campaign

Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) is getting some fundraising help from ZetePAC, which helps members of the Zeta Psi fraternity run for office.

Brown was a member of the fraternity at Tufts University, where he graduated in 1981.

The PAC, which has a motto of "Brothers Helping Brothers," is holding a reception for Brown at the Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel on April 24, with ticket prices ranging from $50 (for undergrads) to $500 a person.

ZetePAC has held previous fundraisers for Brown, raising $1,375 for him in the 2010 election cycle and $1,000 to date in the 2012 election cycle, according the the Center for Responsive Politics. Donors in 2010 were offered the chance to win a "limited edition (1 of 500) autographed Scott Brown #41 baseball bat."

Although Brown is the only federal candidate with ZetePAC backing, the group's website notes that it supports a bipartisan assortment of fraternity members.
