'Titanic' Movie: 21 Fans Who Didn't Know That The Titanic Was A Real Tragedy

With all of the buzz surrounding James Cameron's "Titanic 3D" release, it's only natural that some people are going to overlook the real tragedy behind the Hollywood blockbuster film. At least, until the hype behind the "Titanic" film dies down.

But to not even know that the Titanic was based on a true story is an entirely different -- and much more horrifying -- story, especially considering that next week marks the 100th anniversary of the ship's sinking on April 15, 1912.

In case you were doubting that these people actually exist, HuffPost Entertainment managed to find 21 people who had no idea the Titanic was a real ship, and yes, it's as shocking as it sounds. We can only hope that they're all under the age of 12.
