Childish Gambino's 'Eat Your Vegetables' (AUDIO)

Childish Gambino Raps About Your Health

Childish Gambino ("Community"'s Donald Glover) wants you to eat your vegetables. Well, at least that's what his newest track is called. "Eat Your Vegetables" was released on Monday under Glover's pseudonym Childish Gambino.

A lot of people across the internet are hating this track, and while some of their points are valid (that fat joke was pretty lame), the track is really not that bad. Sure, it's nothing like his previous work and maybe the lyrics are a little lackluster, but the actor-turned-rapper is is trying something new out. In line with his last album Camp, "Eat Your Vegetables" is a stark contrast to the gimmicky and satirical Gambino that hit the rap scene in 2008.

"Eat Your Vegetables" features Gambino's verses flowing around methodic, meandering beats. While there's actually not any reference to eating vegetables (well, there is one to mushrooms, but it's safe to assume of the hallucinogenic kind), Gambino does pay a large nod to some hot-button issues, like Trayvon.
