Ted Danson Is Called 'A Giant Girl's Blouse' On 'The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson' (VIDEO)

Ferguson Calls Ted Dance 'Giant Girl's Blouse' On 'Late Late Show'

As insults go, it wasn't the most cutting, but Craig Ferguson's intent was at least clear. Ted Danson was his guest on "The Late Late Show" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS), and he was sharing his experience at Loch Ness. Danson was filming there, and so he planned this whole gag where he would panic and freak out when he was first thrown into the water.

"It was so cold I couldn't even take a breath," he said. "It was the most freezing water you've ever been in."

Instead, he couldn't even speak, but in a panicked look tried to gesture the cameraman to stop filming. Clearly, this first take wasn't as graceful or cool as he might have liked. Next time he'd at least be intellectually prepared for the cold.

But the reaction elicited a strange response from Ferguson. "You're a giant girl's blouse," he said. He then said that he and his fellow Scotsmen swim in Loch Ness in Bermuda shorts, and sometimes in the nude, further insulting Danson's toughness.

Ted Danson's plenty tough on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS, while Craig Ferguson can be seen weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on "The Late Late Show" on CBS.
