'The Biggest Loser': Makeover Week And A Trip To Washington To Meet The First Lady (VIDEO)

Makeover Week And The First Lady On 'The Biggest Loser'

Always one of the highlights of any season of "The Biggest Loser" (Tue., 8 p.m. ET on NBC), it was makeover week, and that meant a complete style transformation to go along with the physical transformations for the remaining six contestants. Buddy TV called the new looks "shocking," but that's a good thing.

The idea, according to stylist Ken Paves, is to shock their brains into seeing their new bodies when they look in the mirror by transforming their faces and hair. And the looks were both dramatic and breathtaking.

The big reveal went down at the White House, where contestants were ushered in to meet the First Lady, Michelle Obama. But first, they were surprised with their families, who were then surprised at how great their loved ones looked.

As for that Obama meeting, well that got bumped to next week thanks to the new results shows for "The Voice." "The Biggest Loser" has been trimmed to an hour for the duration, which means the weigh-in for this week slipped into next week as well.

Michelle Obama works out with the contestants as "The Biggest Loser" continues with one-hour installments Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
