Hennesy Youngman Curates 'ITSA Small, Small World' At Family Business In Chelsea (VIDEO)

WATCH: Hennesy Youngman's Curates First New York Show

YouTube art-critic Jayson Musson (AKA Hennesy Youngman) curated the opening exhibit at Family Business this week. Rejecting no submissions, Youngman crammed the work of over 500 artists--"be they big-ass paintings, embarassing poems, tax returns, or a piece of art your boyfriend made you 'cause he was too cheap to get you a real gift"-- into a 125-square-foot space in Chelsea.

Fresh off his New York Times profile, Youngman's exhibit (called "ITSA SMALL, SMALL WORLD") drew a large and boisterous crowd. "Young, Wild & Free" by Wiz Khalifa Feat. Snoop Dogg & Bruno Mars" played over the speakers as visitors spilled out onto the street, beer-in-hand-- a scene in stark contrast to shows at the Gagosian Gallery next door.

James Kalm was on hand to film the event, even landing an interview with Youngman himself (above). When Kalm asked why the cops hadn't showed up yet, he quipped, "Because there are a lot of white people here."

For the uninitiated, some of Youngman's finest YouTube moments in the slideshow below, starting with his call for submissions for "ITSA SMALL, SMALL WORLD."
