The New York International Auto Show has officially rolled into town with plenty of shiny new rides for the upcoming public showing this weekend at the Jacob Javits Center.

The press got a sneak preview of the automobiles on Wednesday, including a glimpse of the 2013 SRT Viper.

One of the most highly anticipated press conferences is scheduled for Thursday, where Terrafugia Inc.'s flying car is expected to draw large crowds.

Also to be unveiled is the Nissan NV200 which was selected as the city's Taxi of Tomorrow , which New York Magazine says has a "strong whiff of suburbia."
