Eric Cantor Campaign For Primary Accountability

Roll Call:

In the waning days of a bruising primary between Illinois GOP Reps. Adam Kinzinger and Don Manzullo, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor donated $25,000 to an anti-incumbent super PAC for use against Manzullo -- a move that may have helped swing the contest in favor of Kinzinger.

These two feed off of each other; hence the money. Cantor always came off to me as a little weasle.

This guy Cantor wants to be a VP, why else would he be doing these type of things?

Kinzinger is a lousy Rep., now that he's been redistricted, he could care less about the people in the 11th, the ones who sent him to D.C. in the first place. How very 'gNOp' of him.

Now there's a surprise -- Eric Cantor wheeling and dealing while vying for his next power move!

I believe it. And he wants to be the next candidate vying to be VP, why else is he giving money to anyone.

While it is very entertaining watching Cantor and his ilk cannibalize each other, it is also sad that the party which gave us Lincoln and T. Roosevelt has devolved into this mess. I am a liberal/progressive/Democrat, but I believe that our country works best when there are at least two viable political parties who can exchange ideas and reach compromises. The current disarray in the GOP/TP may benefit the Democratic Party in the short run, but the country will suffer in the long run.

There's absolutely nothing illegal about buying loyalty and servitude of your fellow republicans as long as they do not challenge you, no, nothing corrupt about SuperPacs or the donors, thank Heavans that the Supreme Court understood that unlimited money does not corrupt. If you don't believe me ask anyone of the Roberts Gang of 5 activist conservative out to lunch judges.

I hope it was worth 25K to save your job as House Leader though you aren't much of a leader or much of a human being in your support of Paul Ryan's idiotic proposals to raid Medicare and social security and pass along 4.3 trillion dollars and counting to the 1%.

You can never be too thin, too rich or too corrupt, the GOP/TP creed.

is Eric Cantor up for reelection ?

This is the same guy who once explained that "tax cuts for the rich" are jobs bills. The same guy who bet the stock market that America would fail. We need him in office like we need the Bubonic Plague.

I'm impressed, this time Cantor did not hold unemployed Americans as hostage to get an extension of the Bush tax cut or demand "offsets" before aid for Joplin MO.

Cantor is perfectly willing to sacrifice the well being of the country for the sake of his party and for his allegiances to the Kochs and Grover Norquist.

The sooner we as a nation get rid of Cantor the better off we will be. This is the same idiot who has now voted twice for Ryan's Kill Medicare Bill. No thanks. Cantor caters to the 1%, that's his bread and buttered toast and wine at 135 dollars a bottle.

Does anyone think Eric Cantor will ever come out of the closet. It will devastate his wife, but I think he will be a much happier man.

Eric "Girlyman" Cantor needs to go! He is not good for Virginia or this country! The man is power hungry and would sacrifice anything to accomplish his goals.

Someone in his district should go out with a sign that says he has enough money to make a $25,00 donation to influence a race in another state but not enough to pay 1 cent more for the welfare of this country.

I would if I was there.

And I'm donating $25,000 to my favorite... oh, hang on, I must have left it in my other mink coat.

The 25k likely came from insider trading which was lawful then only for Congressmen but not you or I. Easy come; easy go.
