Queen & Royal Family Celebrate Easter At Windsor Castle! (PHOTOS)

Clad in a festive purple hat, Queen Elizabeth II, along with members of the royal family, celebrated Easter on Sunday with a traditional service at Windsor Castle.

Her Majesty greeted children and sang hymns in a pastel Stewart Parvin silk dress with a lilac crepe coat and a matching hat by Philip Somerville, according to the Telegraph.

Also in attendance and out enjoying the sunny weather: Princess Eugenie in a tan coat and black fascinator, Princess Anne and her husband Tim Laurence, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward with his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

We're just a little sore about one thing: where are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge? Still on their ski vaycay?

When we last saw the royals, they were honoring a memorial service for the late Queen Mother -- also sans Will and Kate.

People please! What difference does it make what color it is? It could be heliotrope or fuschia or carnation pink or any other color in the red color line. And yes, I did look up to see how to spell some of the words and could not find them in the dictionary I had. So, go blow your nose, twits!!

Let's not forget that the windsors did everything they could to discredit Diana.
Let's not forget that the so-called queen had to be sandblasted out of her castle to say something nice about Diana after her death when it was clear to her that public opinion had turned against her and her family.
In addition, in a time of economic hardship for so many, it is unseemly for these people of unearned income and unearned privilege to prance around and have people, especially working people, drool over their every pointless inflection.

Just to set the record straight, the Queen is the largert landowner in the UK much of which was accumulated by previous monarchs, including much of central London & the rents collected go to the Crown Estate. The crown assets are valued at ober $10 billion and after taxes, expenses produced a annual profit of $350 million in 2011 of which the Queen took $52 million for the upkeep of the royal palaces, staff salaries & upkeep of the other royals. The rest she DONATES ro the Treasury. The govt pays for her official functions, travel & entertainment which costs the taxpayer 86 cents per person per year.

The British love their Queen and why shouldn't they? She was very visible working as a mechanic during WW2. She was thrust into a job she never wanted and it doesn't cost the British citizen more than a few dollars a year to support them. The income gleaned from tourism due to the Royal Family brings in way more than it will ever cost the citizens. You know nothing.
