This is the time for a positive campaign between Democrats, wherever they are primarying.

I think the threat to veto budgets is a mistake. The republicans would love to shut down WI and hang it on Democrat "partisanship".

Last year the republicans in MN shut down the state for a record-setting length of time. They had attempted an unbalanced and ideology-laden budget that our Democrat governor vetoed. They would not bargain in good faith and finally settled for balancing the budget with gimmicks. This year they have been preparing for another shutdown by working on legislation that would put some of the more disastrous aspects of a shutdown on autopilot, diminishing the urgency of resolving a shutdown and making it easier to sustain an indefinite shutdown. They would consider it a success if it diminished respect for the government.

Is that cause Dems balance the budget and treat everyone equally and you fear competition?

When was the last time the Dems balanced the budget? Was it when Doyle's budget caused my property taxes to increase more than 40% in 3 years? Gee, under Walker it went up just 2% in the first year.

Women cannot walk the streets, eh? Really? Care to point to a Walker policy that makes that so? Oh, that's right, Dems are afraid that without their state employee union base, they cannot effectively run for office in WI, so you have to make stuff up.

I hate to break it to any conservative getting their hopes up. there is no real issue here, candidates may have small differences but pro recall people are willing to elect anyone but Walker, after the primary we will be united behind a single candidate.

Democrats have only one chance to defeat Walker and that is if they do not have a voter ID law in place. Democrats all over the country are fighting the voter ID because they are masters of voter fraud.

Voting out Walker is important but crippling the organizations that bought his office is equally or more important. Boycott Koch industries products such as anything made by georgia pacific corporation a koch company. Koch gets thier money from us, if we quit giving it to them they have less money to spend pushing laws that create tax breaks while telling us how to live our lives. Boycott thier products such as bounty towels and let both the company and your local store know you will not but thier products. Let them know you will buy your paper products at other outlets until they drop those brands. We can take this country back one dollar at a time by denying them our hard earned money.

If you can find them, we have gotten two chains and four stores to drop them. Todate the boycott against ALEC one of the support organizations for Koch have lost pepsi, coke, kraft foods and a number of other former corporate sponsors and contributors. As momentum builds the number of sponsors are dropping daily, just like rushs sponsors. The tea party is doomed, even the moderate republican like myself are turning on it.

You would have to be on Crack if you live in Wisconsin and want one of the dummiecrats running for Governor to get elected. The hacks running for office want to restore collective bargaining and 100's of millions of dollars in deficit. It's funny that when Governor Walker was elected Governor Quinn in Illinois was elected both came into office and walker passed Act 10 and Governor Quinn chooses to borrow and make concessions to his unions. Now Wisconsin's financial house in order and back in the black for the first time in 8 years. Illinois to the south money problems have gotten worse and the had to cut social service benefits, close prisons and limit essential services for many parts of the state. So in short suggesting to vote Walker out of shows your on drugs or very stupid.

Keep drinking the tea and living in the anti reality of fear based agenda pushing lies. Nobody on the democratic side ever said they didn't want the states 3.6 billion dollar structural deficit eliminated. What we wanted is it done so in a manner that did not put the burden on the backs of the middle class state workers which effectually removed millions per month in disposable income from the states economy and causing a spiral down effect that left state losing more jobs than another state in the country. Any recent job growth is not due to walkers bungling but nothing more than cyclical growth that the state has seen year after year in the spring.

Walker inherited a 130 million dollar budget surplus which he made into a deficit by transfering the money to the industrial development fund and giving away as tax breaks and give backs to industry. Walker is a fraud. Even walker admits his union busting does not save the state any money in its budget. The teachers and public workers had already agreed to give salary cuts and benefit cuts. The state was in the black when he took office. Your ignorance of the facts or the budget is not only astounding but criminal that you can understand so little and yet be able to vote. Wisconsin jobs are drying up and cities and counties are stating to layoff staff or not replace workers as they retire. Our tax base and receipts are shrinking and taxes will be going up significantly by raising them to the legislative max. and then charging service fees. Sorry but walkers course is insane and needs to be stopped along with the taliban and thier supporters.

Scott Walker will have my support and I will be walking the streets of my dear state of Wisconsin to get the word out.
When I was a kid the schools paid for your school supplies, field trips and extra curricular activities. Today parents have to pay for all of this stuff even though we already for taxes for this and why is that?
The Teachers Unions have taken every taxpayer penny they can get and have left nothing for the students. The teachers are full of it when they say this is about the students, it is about them and there paychecks.

What the press forgets, is that there are a lot of moderate republicans like myself that will vote to oust walker. Many moderates are tired of tea party dolts like walker and will vote to eliminate the tea party influence even if it means taking out thier candidates by voting for a democrat. It is the first step in taking back the republican party which has been hijacked by the taliban. Enough with the lies, constitution bashing, and social agendas. Vote for anything but a republican in 2012 and send the koch brothers a message boycott all products from georgia pacific such as brawny paper towels. Thier money comes from us, quit giving it to them and they have less to spend to control our lives.

Ronald Reagan was once a Democrat. When he left the Party and became a Republican, he said that he didn't leave the Democratic Party, it left him.

The same is true for Republican moderates today. The Republican Party left them. All they have for Republican moderates today are insulting names.

Ronald Reagan compromised with Democrats on numerous occasions for the good of the country. If he were running for re-election, the Tea Party would run people in the primaries against him. When will the moderates take their Party back? How will they take it back?

In the private sector, wage and pension demands are tempered by competition. if one company pays too much, a competitor takes his business.

But governments are monopolies. They face no competition and get their money by force. So they can conspire with public sector unions to milk taxpayers. That explains the fix we are in today.

If your so opposed to corporations milking tax payers for millions of dollars where the hell were you when Obama gave millions of dollars to Solyndra. I guess it's OK to give tax breaks and get fleeced by companies when its a lefty company. I'd rather give the tax breaks to the risk takers instead of paying for more social programs doomed to fail. What you don't realize is that when you give a company a tax break it allows that employer to create jobs which in turn means they pay an employee a salary which means they pay taxes on the reported paid income and as doe the wage earner. Which means more money for the government to provide services for those who do not perform or do not work.Its a rather simple concept, but I guess by reading the bone headed comment you posted it may be difficult for you comprehend.

Being a Wisconsinite myself....I was not happy that Tom Barrett (our present mayor) threw his hat in the govenor's race....I believe he makes a very good mayor and he could assist Katherine Falk as govenor.....it was a foolish step on his part....I hope he drops out of that race....

I have no problems with unions and want that part of the budget act repealed.
